Shemagh Scarves Are they Still in Trend?

As if you haven't already noticed. The streets are filled with both men and women sporting this trend. The arabic words - Ghutra and Shemagh - this trend originated in Palestine, a part of their traditional dress - and now, well, it's a fad all over the world!

I've seen many celebrities wearing them in magazines - but they didn't inspire it - no, they definitely did not. In fact, when my sister was wearing one around the house!

Well, anyway, I bought one, and was thinking of dumping it since it's out off style, until just this week when I saw this picture of Gossip Girl's Taylor Momsen sporting a hot pink one! Whether it's right or wrong, Taylor undoubtedly looks cute in hers...makes me want one all over again. =D

Poll!! To Wear Or Not To Wear?: Short shorts, Hot spring trend...for guys!

Some runway designers (and even some men's fashion blog) are advocating a return to the kind of revealing menswear that's best left to the 1970s. Now that the spring looks we saw on runways last fall are finally making their way to the street, expect to see a little more leg from your fashion-forward buddies.

Short shorts are a major topic of debate around Brandish. In between questions about the budget, I got up and yelled 'but what about short shorts? Yay or Nay?' I've got a funny feeling they won't be airing that segment. It's a shame really.

The whole short shorts debate has seen everything from Wham accusations to sly attacks on the colour purple (the actual colour, not the Oscar winning film). People indirectly brought up the issue of people who are, shall we say, slightly larger than life wearing short shorts. That issue has been solved by the makers of skinny jeans - just don't make them past a waist size of 36.

To summarize, Yeah short shorts is uhhh ok... But not for all Body types... I think you should Be Lean or Muscular to pull this thing off... =D ME? nah i'll pass
